Construction d’une Garderie de 50 m² avec Services de Santé Publique
Ntoula Village, Pool Region – Republic of Congo 🇨🇬
In the heart of the Pool region, in a remote and hard-to-reach village, a hopeful project is taking shape for young children and their families:
The construction of a 50 m² community daycare center that will also include a local public health space.
Like many other villages in this region, which is marked by geographic isolation and limited access to essential services, Ntoula currently has no early childhood care facilities. Young children are often left to fend for themselves while their parents work in agriculture or travel to the nearest health centers, sometimes located over 30 kilometers away.

Nous exprimons notre sincère reconnaissance envers la Fondation Verdina pour son soutien financier essentiel ayant permis la construction du bâtiment principale d’une superficie de 50m2, comportant 2 pièces distinctes dont un bureau d’environ 7 m2, avec une entrée séparée et une « petite veranda » non isolée pour l’instant, dédié à la fonction de garderie. Grâce à leur générosité, nous avons pu ériger un espace sûr et adapté aux besoins des tout petits.
En effet, dans le cadre de notre engagement continu envers l’amélioration des conditions de vie au sein de la communauté de Ntoula, la Fondation Verdina qui avait déjà soutenu la réhabilitation du centre de santé commumautaire à émit le souhait de venir en aide aux jeunes filles-mères en construisant un espace dédié à la prise en charge de la petite enfance, permettant ainsi aux jeunes filles-mères d’avoir du temps pour elles et leur propre développement.
Ce geste s’inscrit encore dans la continuité de la générosité de leur fils Yann, ce jeune garçon de 12 ans qui nous a quittés trop tôt, en 1995 après un long combat courageux de 6 ans contre le cancer.
Sa volonté d’aider les enfants pauvres fait aujourd’hui vivre de nombreuses commumautés à travers le monde et Ntoula fait parti des heureux bénéficiaires où, pour la première fois dans le village, une salle de 50m2 a été construite faisant office de garderie pour la petite enfance.
Cette structure vise à offrir un soutien significatif aux jeunes filles-mères leur permettant de poursuivre leurs ambitions entreprenariales avec l’assurance que leurs enfants soient pris en charge dans un environnement sécurisé et stimulant .
L’objectif de l’association est de fournir un cadre propice à l’épanouissement des tout-petits tout en les préparant à un avenir meilleur.

Yann's Story
The village of Ntoula in the Southern Pool Department of Congo-Brazzaville has joined the long list of initiatives made possible by the generosity of Yann, a young boy with a heart as big as the world. Despite being constrained by illness, his spirit traveled freely, carried by dreams of hope and sharing.
It was in this spirit that he expressed one of the purest wishes a child of his age could have—to bring light into the lives of other, less fortunate children. This initiative marks the beginning of an unending chain of generosity, which today enables many disadvantaged children in Ntoula, where we work, to experience the joys of learning and access to health care.
Thanks to Yann’s generosity through his foundation, the Sol’En’Green association has been able to establish two structures bearing his name: a community health center, offering a haven of care and hope, and a 50 m² daycare for young children, serving as a preschool preparation space where education and play intertwine, helping young minds prepare for a brighter future.
